File management
Where are TikTok downloads saved on iPhone, Android, Windows, and Mac?
Find downloaded video and audio files quickly, move them to the right folder, and fix downloads that seem to disappear.

Check the browser first
The browser that started the download usually keeps a recent-download list. Open its menu and look for Downloads. Selecting an item often opens the file or reveals its location.
If the entry says failed, canceled, or blocked, the file may never have been saved. Retry once after checking your connection and available storage.
Find files on iPhone and iPad
Safari commonly saves files in the Downloads folder in the Files app, under iCloud Drive or On My iPhone depending on your Safari settings. Tap the download arrow in Safari to view recent items.
A compatible video may also be moved to Photos: open it in Files, tap Share, and choose Save Video when that action is available. If it is already in Photos, look in Recents and the Videos media type.
Find files on Android
Open Files by Google, My Files, or the file manager supplied with your phone. Choose Downloads or search for recent MP4, M4A, or MP3 files. Chrome also has a Downloads entry in its menu.
Some devices separate internal storage and an SD card. Check the browser’s download-location setting if the usual folder is empty.
Find files on Windows, Mac, and Chromebook
On Windows, open File Explorer and choose Downloads. On macOS, open Finder and choose Downloads in the sidebar. On Chromebook, open the Files app and check Downloads.
Sort by Date modified to bring the newest file to the top. Your browser settings may point to another folder or ask where to save every file.
When a download seems missing
Search by file extension and date, check that storage is not full, and review browser permissions. Private-browsing sessions can also make the download history harder to revisit even when the file exists.
Once found, rename the file clearly and move important copies out of the general Downloads folder, which is easy to clear accidentally.
