The steps are similar across browsers, but file locations and save controls vary by device.

Steps shared by every browser

Copy the link from the exact public TikTok video, open TokSave, paste the address, and choose Get video. When processing finishes, select one of the qualities or audio formats actually available.

Only download work you own or have permission to save. Browser choice does not change privacy, copyright, or source availability.

Chrome on Android, Windows, and Mac

Chrome normally shows download progress near the top or bottom of the window and keeps completed items under its Downloads menu. On Android, files usually appear in the device Downloads folder.

If Chrome blocks multiple downloads or reports an unsafe action, review the address and permission prompt rather than disabling browser security globally.

Safari on iPhone, iPad, and Mac

On iPhone and iPad, tap Safari’s download arrow to view recent files. Saved items usually appear in Files under Downloads. On Mac, open Safari’s download list or Finder’s Downloads folder.

If a video opens instead of saving, use the available Share or download control. Save Video may move a compatible file to Photos on iOS.

Firefox and Edge

Firefox shows downloads from its toolbar and menu, while Edge provides a Downloads panel. Both normally use the operating system Downloads folder unless you changed the setting.

If a strict tracking-protection or extension setting blocks the request, test the page without that extension for this site rather than lowering protection everywhere.

Mobile and desktop troubleshooting

Keep the tab open while processing, ensure enough free storage, and avoid repeatedly pressing download. Check the browser list before assuming the file disappeared.

When one browser consistently fails, update it or try another current browser. If the post itself is unavailable or the provider returns no media, switching browsers will not create a missing source.
